Anyone tried Good Season Salsa

I was looking through the Paula Deen and Friends cookbook and saw a recipe for Good Seasons Salsa. It has tomatoes, olives, green chilis, green onions and good seasons dressing. Right before you serve it you add shredded cheese. I can't imagine what it would tast like.
Anyone tried it? What did you think?

That sounds different; could be good.
But I'll confess that I haven't made salsa since I discovered Paul Newman Peach Salsa. The combination of sweet and savory (just a tad of heat) is wonderful.
If you make this, let us know how it tastes.

I forgot to post a review of this recipe. DH loved it, I was not so crazy about it. I think mainly because I don't like black olives and even though I didn't eat them, you could still taste them. That being said, it seemed to go over pretty well.
Jenn, I got the recipe from my mom's Paula Deen and Friends Cookbook. I think this is it:
4 tomatoes chopped
3 green onions chopped (both white and green parts)
1 can of sliced black olives (drained)
1 can of diced green chiles
2 cups of shredded mexican blend cheese
1 package of good seasons italian dressing prepared as directed on package
mix tomatoes, green onions, olives, chiles and salad dressing and chill. Just before serving add cheese.
Serve with fritos or tortilla chips.

SD, I didn't think it was real salty, but definitely morso than other salsas with fresh tomatoes.

Ball® Simple Creations Mild Fiesta Salsa Mix

Hi there ilovethesouth -
Thank you for posting the Good Season Salsa recipe. I'm thinking that if it was a little on the salty side that perhaps not using the whole package of dressing mix; maybe a part package or to taste.

Here is another mix that was in my Taste of Home newsletter this morning. I haven't tried it of course and I'm not even sure if I've seen this mix in my market.
Ball® Simple Creations Mild Fiesta Salsa Mix
Just add tomatoes! Made with natural spices and seasonings, you can prepare salsa as hot as desired. All in less than 30 minutes! Makes 4 (16 oz) pints or 8 (8 oz) half pints.
