How to Make Good Seasons Macaroni Salad

This is a quick, easy, and tasty macaroni salad recipe. Feeds 6-10 people using a whole box of macaroni and is creamy and delicious.

Instructions

1

Cook the macaroni
First thing you'll want to do is cook one pound of macaroni according to instructions on the box.  I use smaller pastas such as elbows which I have found to work the best.  You'll want the macaroni to be cooled completely in the fridge before you add the vegetables and the dressing.

2

Cut the vegetables
While you are waiting for the macaroni to cool you can chop the vegetable and mix the dressing.  I used green peppers, red peppers, and cucumber.  I use 3/4 of a green pepper and cut into small cubes.  Do the same for the red pepper however only using half the pepper.  Cut the cucumber as well, using about 2/3 of the cucmber.  Use you judgement, cut more or less as you feel is necessary.

3

Dressing
Good Seasons Italian dressing works great in this recipe.  Follow the directions on the packet.  It is much easier if you have the Good Seasons mixing container which has the requirements marked right on it.

4

Mix and Add Mayo and Mustard
Add the vegetables and the dressing to the cold macaroni and mix well.  Now add 3 tablespoons of mayo (I use reduced fat) and 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard. Don't worry it's not going to taste like mustard. Mis well and add more mayo/mustard to you liking.

5

Season
Add salt and pepper to your liking. Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

It is important to add the mixture AFTER the past has cooled.  Trust me it makes a difference.
